Partnerships Manager

The position is responsible for nurturing and managing relationships with all partners to ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations and the achievement of marketing objectives. This role requires relationship building, effective communication, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver value to partners and enhance their engagement with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.

Additionally, this role provides an opportunity to pursue specific sales initiatives that have been previously approved and directed by the VP of Partnerships, supporting the growth of existing relationships and identifying new revenue-generating opportunities within a structured framework.

Key Competencies and Responsibilities

PARTNER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners, fostering strong, long-term relationships.

  • Build trust by understanding partners’ objectives and ensuring all commitments are met.

  • Work closely with partners to maximize value and engagement. Conduct regular partnership satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and improve relationships.

  • Understand inner workings of Partner business models aiming to appropriately suggest supportive strategies or solutions for growth.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in partner communications, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Understand media rights and confidentiality requirements, ensuring proper handling of sensitive partnership and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB information.

ACTIVATION & EXECUTION

  • Coordinate and execute partner activations, including events, promotions, and hospitality.

  • Ensure all deliverables are met according to contractual agreements.

  • Monitor and track partnership expectations and obligations, ensuring they are met and upheld to a high standard.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute seamless activations that enhance partner engagement.

REPORTING & ANALYSIS

  • Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, including return on investment and engagement metrics.

  • Offer creative, actionable recommendations for partnership enhancements.

  • Conduct informational interviews with partnership representatives to identify growth opportunities.

SALES INITIATIVES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Pursue specific sales initiatives as approved and directed by the Director, Partnerships Management, supporting revenue growth and business development efforts.

  • Identify and develop upsell and renewal opportunities with existing partners, ensuring alignment with team objectives.

  • Collaborate with Director, Partnerships Management to explore new revenue streams while maintaining focus on partnership fulfillment.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and operations teams to align partnership initiatives with team strategies.

  • Ensure seamless execution of partner-related activities through effective internal communication.

Abilities and Qualifications

Exceptional account management skills: Demonstrated experience in account management roles of increasing responsibility and independent decision-making. Prior Account Manager/Partnerships Support experience preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and within established deadlines.

Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively with partners and internal stakeholders verbally and in writing.

Passion for industry: Commitment to a strong work ethic, delivering value, and establishing mutual trust.

Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy and consistency in all partnership deliverables.

Ability to travel: Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends, as required by the NASCAR Cup Series schedule.
