Digital Platforms Manager
The Digital Platforms Manager at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is responsible for the hands-on development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of key digital tools including the team’s website, subscription fan club, mobile app, and other digital assistance. This role is focused on technical delivery and operational ownership, with secondary responsibilities supporting social media reporting, light community management, and occasional weekend coverage when needed.
This position plays a vital role in shaping how fans, partners, and internal teams engage with the LEGACY MOTOR CLUB brand across digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver who can confidently build digital solutions from scratch, coordinate with vendors when needed, manage platforms with precision, and provide insights from analytics to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build & Maintain the Website
Lead development and day-to-day management of the LEGACY MOTOR CLUB website, ensuring it remains fast, responsive, technically sound, and brand consistent.
Build and publish new pages, templates, and site features as needed throughout the season.
Execute site improvements tied to fan experience, sponsor visibility, and backend performance.
Manage access, plug-ins, analytics tags, and integrations with systems like social, email, or merchandise.
Ensure mobile optimization, error-free updates, and responsive layout across devices.
2. Maintain & Grow The CLUB
Own the structure and evolution of the The CLUB official mobile app, working closely with external development partners or app platforms when applicable.
Scope and build new features or tools inside the app.
Maintain app health across iOS/Android, testing before and after each update.
Create in-app experiences tied to race weekends, events, or sponsor activations.
Review app usage data to inform upgrades and measure impact.
3. Internal Mobile App Develop & Deliver
Build custom digital assets that serve specific projects, partners, or internal departments—such as intranets, dashboards, or race-weekend digital programs.
Translate business goals into digital product plans with clear scope and timeline.
Design, develop, and launch tools that are user-friendly, brand-aligned, and stable.
Ensure these tools are maintainable and documented for future updates.
Act as both producer and project manager for these builds.
4. Social Media Support (Low-Priority Responsibility)
While the primary responsibility of this role is digital platforms, the Digital Platforms Manager will provide secondary support to the Social Media team as needed.
Assist with community management by monitoring and responding to fans on major channels.
Provide social media reporting and tie data into broader digital performance dashboards.
Serve as backup for weekend social coverage when the Social Media Manager is unavailable.
Qualifications and Competencies
Experience & Background:
3–5 years in digital production, web/app development, or technical project execution.
Experience building digital products or features hands-on (HTML/CSS or low-code platforms).
Familiarity with CMS platforms, app ecosystems, and digital integrations.
Experience managing cross-functional digital builds from brief to deployment to maintenance.
