2024: Erik Jones is set to embark on his fourth season behind the wheel of the iconic No. 43. This year marks a notable return for Jones to Toyota, a manufacturer he last drove for in 2020. Having committed to a multi-year contract extension with the team in August of 2022, Jones has solidified his future with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. Looking ahead, Jones aims to build upon the foundation laid during the team’s inaugural year of competition. With continuity in the driver's seat and a strong relationship with crew chief Dave Elenz, Jones looks forward to further progress and success in the upcoming season.

2023: In the inaugural season of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, Erik Jones took on his third season with the No. 43. He notched seven top-10 finishes, securing his sole top-five finish at Kansas Speedway in the fall. Jones led a combined total of 24 laps at Talladega, Fort Worth, and Phoenix during the season. Jones concluded the season 27th in the points standing.

2022: Jones joined Petty GMS to compete full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 43 Chevrolet to a season embedded with success that hasn’t been seen since Richard Petty was behind the wheel. Erik was able to secure the organization’s first win at Darlington Raceway in the historic Southern 500 crown jewel race, marking his second triumph at the track dubbed “Too Tough to Tame”. In total, Jones posted three top-fives and 13 top-10 finishes en route to an 18th place finish in the points standings.

2021: Made the leap over to Richard Petty Motorsports to drive the iconic No. 43 Chevrolet, posting six top-10 results during the season with a best finish of seventh place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. Led nine laps on the season and finished 24th in the drivers’ points standings.

2020: Kicked off the season with a win in the Busch Clash, an annual invitation-only 75-lap exhibition race at the Daytona International Speedway. Jones completed the season with nine top-five finishes, 13 top-ten finishes, and 65 laps led. Finished 17th in the drivers’ points standings in his fourth full-time season.

2019: Scored his second career NASCAR Cup Series victory in the crown jewel Southern 500 race at Darlington Raceway and made the post-season playoffs. He finished the season with one win, 10 top-five finishes, 17 top-10 finishes, and led 172 laps. Finished 16th in the drivers’ points standings in his third full-time season.

2018: Earned his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory at the Daytona International Speedway, battling back from one lap down to lead the last lap and capture the win on July 7th, 2018. He finished the season with one win, nine top-five finishes, 18 top-10 finishes, one pole at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and led 99 laps.

2017: Competed in his first full-time NASCAR Cup Series season as the 2017 Sunoco Rookie of the Year, the first driver ever to win Rookie of the Year honors in all of NASCAR’s top-three national touring series. Jones earned five top-five finishes, 14 top-10 finishes, and scored his first pole at Bristol Motor Speedway. In addition, Erik claimed three NASCAR Xfinity Series wins including a sweep at Texas Motor Speedway in addition to a win at Bristol Motor Speedway.

2016: Raced full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and claimed the 2016 Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors, earning four wins at Bristol Motor Speedway, Dover Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, and Chicagoland Speedway, along with 15 top-five finishes, 20 top-ten finishes, and a staggering nine pole awards en route to a fourth-place finish in the points standings.

2015: Jones became the youngest NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion at 19 years old, 5 months and 21 days, while also collecting Rookie of the Year honors, collecting three wins at Iowa Speedway, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, and Texas Motor Speedway along with 11 top-five finishes and 20 top-10 finishes as well as five poles. In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, he earned wins at Texas Motor Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway, 13 top-five finishes, 17 top-10 finishes, and three poles. In addition, Erik made his first three NASCAR Cup Series starts.

2014: Won three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Iowa Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway. Competing part-time, Jones posted three top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes along with two poles. Also made three NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, earning three top-10 finishes.

2013: Jones earned an opportunity to race in five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts and made the most of it, posting two top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes. In his final start of the season, he won his first NCWTS race at Phoenix Raceway at just seventeen years of age, making himself the youngest driver to win an NCWTS race at the time.
