VIDEO EDITOR

LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is seeking a highly skilled, creative, and adaptable Video Editor to join our Digital Media team. This role is pivotal in producing high-quality, long-form video content that showcases our brand, drivers, and partners, bringing their stories to life through compelling visuals and narratives. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, with a strong understanding of color correction, audio synchronization, and various video formats. This position demands an individual who can thrive under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is willing to travel and work extended hours, including weekends, to meet production needs.

The ideal candidate will have three (3) plus years of video editing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment or digital media. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. Possess a strong understanding of color correction, grading, and various footage formats and experience with multi-channel audio syncing and sound design. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy. This position does require travel and non-traditional work hours, including nights and weekends, as required. Experience with animation or motion graphics is very desirable. 

Reports to: Director of Digital Media

Location: On-site in Statesville, NC

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Video Editing and Post-Production

Edit long-form video content for various platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative that aligns with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB's brand identity. Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling and audience engagement. Ensure excellent and consistent organization of footage, storage, and archival content.

Audio, Color and Technical Precision

Perform color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall aesthetic of the content. Manage multiple audio channels, ensuring proper synchronization and mixing for optimal sound quality. Adjust formats and file sizes as needed for different platforms and distribution channels.

Collaboration and Communication

Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas to enhance content quality and engagement. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Adaptability and Efficiency

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and feedback, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Stay updated with emerging video editing trends and technologies, applying new techniques to improve content quality.

Travel and Flexibility

 Willingness to travel as required for on-site editing and production support. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet critical project deadlines. Maintain flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes and urgent project needs.
